Ventilation Type

Downdraft: Proximity ventilation installs flush with the cooktop and captures smoke, steam and odors at the cooking surface, drawing them down and out of the kitchen.

Recirculating: For homes without exterior ventilation ductwork, this hood recirculates air after running it through filters to capture grease and odor.

Exterior: For homes with exterior ventilation ductwork. The hood vents cooking vapors outside and uses a make-up air kit to bring in fresh air.

Perimetric Extraction

The hood extracts smoke, steam and grease more efficiently from a vent around the edge of the appliance.
