Dallas Design, Reimagined: Touring the 2025 Kips Bay Decorator Show House

Returning for its sixth year, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House returns to the lavish 2999 Turtle Creek Boulevard in the heart of one of Dallas's most prestigious neighborhoods. Open to the public from November 7th to November 23rd, the rooms of the palatial 25,000-square-foot French Renaissance-style estate have been transformed by 26 leading designers.

Featured in two boldly designed rooms, JennAir^® appliances are right at home with the layered colors, patterns and vivid art of each reimagined space. Read on to explore each of these stunning rooms.

The Kitchen

The spacious kitchen is filled with natural light from two floor-to-ceiling windows, and the design is anchored by two neoclassical painted plaster statues on pedestals. The classic-inspired design extends to the rich cream marble backsplash and counters with thick charcoal-gray veins. To warm up the mostly monochromatic color scheme, the designer, Christopher Architecture & Interiors, chose brass and copper accessories that pull in the warmth of the honey-colored wooden parquet floors.

The center of the room is dominated by a massive white eat-in island, with a trio of playful fur-topped barstools. Overlooking the island is a bank of dark wood cabinets with bright, contrasting brass hardware, but behind the facade, the three doors open to reveal a 30-inch JennAir^® Column Freezer, a 30-inch JennAir^® Column Refrigerator, and an espresso bar with a JennAir^® NOIR^™ Coffee System.

On the far right of the kitchen, the plaster walls give way to an arching alcove that houses another bank of dark wood lower cabinets and a hidden panel-ready JennAir^® Dishwasher. The crown jewel of the kitchen, a 48-inch JennAir^® Professional-Style Induction Range, is nestled in the middle of the alcove, with a stainless steel pot filler and open shelving above. A 36-inch JennAir^® Custom Hood Liner is mounted within the wall, tucked into the arch so the kitchen's aesthetic remains completely seamless.

The other room in the home that features JennAir^® appliances is designed by Nicole Gordon Studio. A feast for the eyes, the bespoke “Overlook Hideaway” bar features a medley of textiles and materials. Behind the marble bar in the corner is a JennAir^® 24" Double Drawer Refrigerator and Freezer outfitted with maroon custom cabinetry. Other stunning details in the room include the abstract and textured Elliot Hundley table, nestled in front of a rich olive-hued cotton velvet sofa. Above the table is the rare “Dahlia” Chandelier Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte from Donzella, featuring 16 curved glass petals.

Along a wall of framed mirrors and near a full-length window sits a statement-making marble bar. Here, all the necessities are found for creating a signature cocktail, including a JennAir^® 24" Double Drawer Refrigerator and Freezer with maroon cabinet exteriors for a truly integrated look in the bold room.

In contrast to the warm red plaster walls, vibrant artwork in an array of colors and styles adorns every wall throughout the space. Furniture with touches of black stands out in the otherwise moody yet vivid room. The bespoke aesthetic extends to the custom-lacquered gaming table, where hosts can gather guests to play a round of cards.

The Kips Bay Dallas Show House neighbors the iconic Rosewood Mansion and the planned Four Seasons Hotel & Residences site.

Efforts and proceeds from the Kips Bay Dallas Show House support the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Additionally, the Dallas Show House benefits Dwell with Dignity and The Crystal Charity Ball.
